"Did anyone else find the headband uncomfortable?"
I really wanted to like this, but I just couldn’t get comfortable with it. After about 10 minutes, the band started feeling too tight and left a sore spot on my forehead. I tried adjusting it a few different ways, but then it would just slip around. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it was a no-go

"Great idea, but the updates keep causing issues"
I really like the concept of the Muse device, and I mostly pay attention to whether it just works when I’m ready to use it. Lately, though, that’s been the problem. After the most recent firmware update, mine disconnects more often and sometimes won’t sync right away. I feel like I end up restarting the app and fiddling with it instead of actually using the device. Support has been decent, but for the price, I’d expect the whole experience to be a lot more reliable.

"It just keeps saying there’s poor…"
It just keeps saying there’s poor contact, even after I adjust it a bunch of times. I tried repositioning it to make sure it was sitting right, but the message still comes up. Frustrating to deal with.

"Warranty didn’t help at all"
My band broke while it was still under warranty, so I thought it would be simple. Nope. They kept asking me for more photos and making me go back and forth, then after all that they said the replacement wasn’t even covered. Wasted weeks on this and still no fix. Annoying honestly.

"Good at first, but didn’t hold up"
It worked well in the beginning, but after around a few months the band started getting loose and the sensor began acting weird. For what it costs, I expected it to last quite a bit longer

"Charging felt like a constant hassle"
I felt kind of trapped dealing with this charger. Every time I plugged it in, it was a guessing game whether it would actually work or not. I had to keep wiggling the cable just to get it to charge, and even then it wasn’t reliable. It got old really fast and made charging way more stressful than it should be.

"Nice idea, but the audio needs work"
I really liked the concept and was hoping it would help me relax. Unfortunately, the soundscapes came across cheap and tinny, and the audio would cut in weird places, which made it more distracting than calming for me. That said, the app has a good idea behind it, and I’d be willing to try it again if the sound quality gets improved...

"Couldn’t really tell if the neurofeedback did much"
I really wanted the real-time neurofeedback to make meditation feel easier, but it just felt kind of random to me. There were days it told me I was calm when I definitely didn’t feel that way

I used it quite a bit hoping it would start to make more sense, but I never felt like I learned anything useful from the feedback. For the price, I expected something clearer and more helpful, so it just wasn’t worth it for me

"Looks better in photos than it feels in real life"
I was disappointed with this. I’ve bought similar items before that felt much sturdier for the price, so I was expecting better here. The design looks nice in the pictures, but once I actually started using it, it felt flimsy and kind of awkward. A few parts don’t seem to fit together quite right, which makes the whole thing feel cheaper than it should. Overall, not really worth the cost for me.

"and the progress just never updates"
the insights don’t feel helpful at all. I kept checking back expecting my progress to update, but it never seemed to change, which made the whole thing frustrating to use.

I ordered the wrong headband and had to send it back. Support took a couple of days to get back to me. Once they received the return, the refund went through fine. Not the fastest process. But it was simple enough and there was no hassle

"I tried this on two people at…"
I tried this on two people at home, one with a smaller head and one with a larger head, and it just didn’t fit right on either of us. It was either too tight or slipped around in a weird way. i felt a bit misled because I expected it to be much more comfortable based on how it was presented. Ended up returning it, which was really disappointing.

I really wanted to like Muse, and it works fine when it’s actually charged... but the battery life has been disappointing. I feel like I’m plugging it in all the time, even after using it for short sessions. For the price, I expected it to hold a charge a lot better!! It’s not useless or anything, just kinda frustrating

"Not worth the money"
I wouldn’t keep paying for this. For the monthly cost, it feels like a total rip-off and the whole thing just comes off like a lazy cash grab. Definitely not worth it

"Not Very Helpful"
I was hoping for something a lot more useful, but the tracks felt boring and rushed. It didn’t really feel like much care was put into making it helpful for people who are actually trying to learn or get something out of it. A bit more effort and consideration would go a long way.

"Pretty frustrating to use"
I really wanted to give this app a fair try, but... it kept freezing on me, and the menus were confusing. I kept tapping around trying to figure things out, but it just didn’t feel very intuitive

"Bluetooth has been a headache"
I’ve had a frustrating time with the Bluetooth on this. At first I thought it connected fine, but then later that same day—or maybe the next morning, I’ve lost track—it started disconnecting randomly and taking forever to pair again. Sometimes the app doesn’t even find the device at all. I tried restarting my phone, fully charging it, deleting and reinstalling the app, and it still kept doing the same thing. For something that really needs a stable connection, it’s been way more annoying than I expected.

"Not really worth it"
I don’t think this was worth the money. I’ve bought similar products for less that felt better overall, so compared to those, this one was disappointing.
